Mannapov, LLC sanitizes or destroys data on mobile devices and all other data-containing products received, unless otherwise requested in writing by the customer. Mannapov, LLC adheres to the data sanitization and secure handling of end-of-life data-containing devices as outlined by SERI and other standards such as NISPOM.
Mannapov, LLC documents our data sanitization process and stores records digitally on premises on our secure servers. Employees in data sanitization receive appropriate training upon hire, and annually, along with annual testing to ensure competency. Our data sanitization processes are reviewed and validated by an independent party on a periodic basis.
Quality controls are documented, implemented, and monitored internally to ensure the effectiveness of data sanitization techniques. Documented security controls consider physical security, monitoring techniques, chain-of-custody, and personnel qualifications, while being of the most sensitive classification appropriate for the media Mannapov, LLC accepts.
When data sanitization is conducted by a downstream vendor, Mannapov, LLC maintains responsibility for the data sanitization and appropriate security controls through documented audits. Devices containing data are tracked and secured during transport, storage, and processing.
